Huey
We received a call from a friend who was at an auction and stumbled upon a Haflinger in the pen with the slaughter horses. She noticed that this Haflinger was blind in one eye and was available for a mere $800. After some consideration, we decided to purchase him right away. We named him Huey Haflinger.
Following a thorough vet check, it was decided that Huey's blind eye needed to be removed. Despite this setback, Huey turned out to be an exceptional horse. It's been five years since we welcomed him into our family, and he has proven to be a loyal and caring companion.
Huey has a unique way of looking out for his rider. If you ever start to lose your balance, he stops immediately, ensuring your safety at all times. Huey's attentive nature has made him an invaluable member of our family, always ready to lend a helping hoof.
